BlasterScribe Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is applicable to the BlasterScribe app (hereinafter referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, which was developed by Ji R. (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is provided "AS IS".

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

What information do users provide to the Application?

The Application requires you to register an account to use its services. When you register and use the Application, you provide the following information:

Account Information:

• Email address (used for authentication and account recovery)
• Username (unique identifier visible to you)
• Password (encrypted and securely stored)

User-Generated Content:

• Blaster collection data including names, brands, designers, types, specifications, and performance data
• Custom tags and notes
• Design links (URLs to external resources)
• Images of your blasters (which may contain personally identifiable information)

Firebase User ID:

• A unique identifier automatically generated by Firebase Authentication to manage your account

The Service Provider may use the email address you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices, and marketing promotions.

What information does the Application collect automatically?

The Application automatically collects certain information through Firebase Analytics and other Firebase services:

Device Information:

• Device type and model
• Mobile device unique device ID
• Mobile operating system and version
• Mobile Internet browser type and version
• IP address

Usage Information:

• App screens viewed and time spent on each screen
• User actions and interactions within the Application
• App performance data
• Session duration and frequency
• Crash reports and diagnostic information

Analytics Data:

• Approximate geographic location derived from IP address (country, city, region)
• User engagement metrics
• Feature usage patterns

This information is collected and processed by Google Firebase services to help improve the Application's functionality and user experience.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

The Application does not collect precise real-time location information or request location permissions from your device.

Firebase Analytics (a third-party service used by the Application) may automatically derive approximate geographic location (country, city, region) from your IP address for analytics purposes only. This approximate location data is used solely to understand the geographic distribution of our users and improve the Application. This data is aggregated and anonymized.

The Application does not use location data to provide personalized content, recommendations, or location-based services.

Does the Application use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies?

The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

The Application uses the following third-party services that collect, process, and store information:

Google Firebase Services:

• Firebase Authentication (user account management)
• Firebase Firestore (data storage)
• Firebase Storage (image storage)
• Firebase Analytics (usage analytics)

Data Sharing Policy:

The Service Provider does not sell, rent, or share your personal information or user content with third parties for marketing purposes. Your blaster collection and images remain private to you and are only accessible through your account.

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
• when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can halt all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

What is the data retention policy and how can you manage your information?

The Service Provider will retain your data for as long as you use the Application.

You can delete your account and associated data at any time through your profile settings in the Application, or by contacting the Service Provider at blasterscribe@gmail.com. Your account and personal data will be deleted within 30 days. Please note that some data may persist in backup systems for a limited period following deletion, and certain information may be retained as required by law.

How does the Application address children's privacy?

The Application is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

If you are under 13 years of age, you are not permitted to use the Application or provide any personal information. The Service Provider encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application without their permission.

If you have reason to believe that a child under 13 has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application, please contact the Service Provider at blasterscribe@gmail.com so that appropriate action can be taken to remove such information.

How is your information kept secure?

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve their Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

How will you be informed of changes to this Privacy Policy?

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. When changes are made, the Service Provider will update this page with the new Privacy Policy and revise the effective date. For material changes, the Service Provider may notify you via email or through an in-app notification. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy regularly. Your continued use of the Application after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

How do you give your consent?

By using the Application, you are giving your consent to the Service Provider processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. "Processing," means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information.
